 The making of steel 

At the most basic, steel is made by mixing carbon and iron at very high temperatures (above 2600°F). Primary steelmaking creates steel from a product called “pig iron.” Pig iron is smelted iron from iron ore, which contains more carbon than is correct for steel, then the steel is molded into shape being rectangular tubing, square tubing, sheet metal or round circular tubing + many more.

The Steel Furniture are fabricated mainly with the technics of spot welding and argon welding, all parts are tightly connected with each other and become an inseparable whole part, this makes the steel furniture much stable and durable, and hardly become deformed.

The maintenance work is rarely needed for steel furniture, but the most important thing is that the thickness of the steel sheets must meet standard requirement.

If the furniture are jerry-built and the steel sheets are too thin, a lot of problem will happen during the assembling and when you are using it,so you’d better keep your eye open and check what gauge steel your supplier is using for you.
